Coach Paul’s Weekly Update

What a busy week! First, congratulations to Team #asbj for winning the Intrabox Competition! The event was a tremendous success, and I’m proud of each and every one of you who competed. A special thank you to all of the volunteers for assisting with setup and judging. Another special thank you to Debbie Howard for providing massage services. Congratulations to all of the competitors who achieved deadlift, clean, snatch, and back squat PRs!

Endurance is off to a wonderful start, and last week’s tabata runs were, well, “fun.” Be sure to note where the sessions will be held, for example we’ll be meeting at Apex Nature Park for hill repeats. Yes, hill repeats. My favorite!

Congratulations to all of you who tackled “1776.” That was a very tough workout. We’ll likely do again next year!

Be sure to read Coach Jay’s bio. He’s a very welcome addition to the coaching team, and I’m delighted that he’s (finally) coaching at the box.
