It hurts to sneeze. It hurts when our kitty, Meg, “kneads bread” on my stomach. It hurts to mop chalk off of the CFS floor. Fortunately, it doesn’t hurt to type!
I hope you have all recovered or are recovering from Tuesday’s WOD. Core to extremities, indeed! I also hope that you enjoyed yesterday’s conditioning.
I can tell by observing your 1 rep bench press at 95% of 1RM that many if not all of you will be achieving a new 1RM the week after next. As tempting as it is to want to attempt a new 1RM now, I ask for your patience. Even though it’s May, you’ll need to wait until the week of May 12th to put your name and achievements on the PR board for HBBS, bench press, dead-lift, and press.
You may, however, put your May goals on the board. I do look at your goals when programming, so it’s important that I know what you’re trying to achieve.
Things you can do today:
- Make up a missed WOD, particularly if you missed any of the strength sessions.
- Work on a goal. I will be here in the morning as well as at the Community WOD, and Coach Jannicka will be here from 5:15 to 6:30.
- Work on mobility.
- Rest. Did I already mention that?
