Folks, look up at the header. It reads “WOD for Wednesday”. Yesterday the header read “WOD for Tuesday”. So, if the header read “WOD for Tuesday” and I announce that the 8:30 am WOD is cancelled tomorrow, that means it’s cancelled for Wednesday.
Look at the Special Announcement above. Even though many of you are reading this Tuesday, the announcement is for Wednesday, October 2. The 8:30 WOD is cancelled today. Today being Wednesday. Ok? Ok.
It’s Wednesday (even if you’re reading this on Tuesday), and you know what that means — a challenging workout!
Be sure to write down your PRs on the whiteboard, folks. I mean it.
We’ll be completing the 3rd of last year’s CrossFit Games Open WODs.

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 18 minutes:
15 box jumps (24/20)
12 push presses (115/75)
9 toes to bar
Score = number of reps
For a slight change of pace, we’ll be completing the WOD in 2 heats. Each athlete will have an opportunity to compete and to judge.
Yes, you may scale. You will nonetheless be held accountable for executing proper form — particularly if you are completing as prescribed.
Full extension at the top of each box jumps. Check. Push presses and not presses or push jerks. Check. Full lock out at the top of each push press. Check. Both feet touch the bar at the same time for toes to bar. Check.
