Programming this week
Power training at its finest. We’ve got some squats, olympic lifting, gymnastics and metcons designed to increase our power endurance which will later translate to max power. We will use pre-fatiguing as a tool to increase power output. Some of us may have experienced being able to lift heavier when under a bit of pre-fatigue (think Open workouts with ascending loads).
• Back Squat work then a spicy little triplet
• HSPU followed by a 10 min AMRAP
• Cycling Power Clean skill building and a 15min EMOM
• Jerk Dips & Balance work then a 5 round burner with a dumbbell
• Fatigued Muscle-Up Progressions followed by a 21-15-9 couplet
• Another Tribute Partner WOD !!!
• 10 min AMRAP x 3
