First, tell us a little bit about yourself. What are your interests outside of CrossFit?

My interests are to read the SCP wiki, a website that people upload stories about creatures that break the laws of physics, take long walks outside, and play scary video games.

How and why did you get involved in CrossFit?

I was curious and my Dad wanted me to get involved. He’s been a coach for 4 years I guess

What was the first workout that you completed?

I did CrossFit kids but I don’t remember my real workout. It was a lot of fun coached by Nick.

What are your current and future training goals?

To get stronger at everything and be better at metcons. It would be weird to have a thin body but big strong legs

What is your favorite activity or lift, e.g., pull-ups, dead-lifts, running, front squats, snatches, burpees, etc.?

Dead-lift one rep max. Because it’s simple and makes me stronger. I also like to ring the PR bell.

What is your least favorite activity or lift?

The snatch, because my body feels it already reached its limit just by doing one.

What PR are you most proud of achieving and why?

Dead-lift, because I worked hard to get 205lbs and I am proud of that achievement.

What do you enjoy more, strength or conditioning and why?

Strength because I want to know how strong I am.

Favorite food(s)?

Dumplings. They are pure deliciousness from the center of heaven!

What are 3 fun facts about yourself?

1. I took a road trip to NYC with my Dad. We went with my uncle to the Museum of Natural History and saw ginormous dinosaurs.

2. I volunteered at Piedmont Animal Refuge last summer and taught kids about animals.

3. I went to Great Wolf Lodge on my 16th birthday and had fun going on the water slides a lot.

How are you handling the quarantine? Are you able to work out?

I am handling the quarantine just fine but I am going a little bit crazy by staying in the house too much but I am able to work out indoors with my dad. I miss interacting with my friends at school but I know I will see them again soon in the future. I can’t wait to get back to the gym!
