I started CrossFit in April 2015. My most memorable crossfit moment was the day I realized I was going to be the “one-armed wonder”, as coined by Coach Marni. I had a frozen shoulder in 2012, so when it started coming back in the fall of 2015 I knew exactly what it was. I had to decide if I was going to let the shoulder consume me like it had previously, or if I was going to fight. I decided to fight this time, and I never looked back. I did CrossFit for 18 months with 1 arm, and ended up stronger both mentally and physically for the experience.

The new me would tell the old me that it is going to be hard, really hard, but you will be happy when you get there and that it will all be worth it!
