Thanks to all of you who attended the Bring in the New Year workout! While not as heavily attended as last year’s event, I have already received requests to hold the event again next year.

By now all of you have been weaned from paper notebooks. A reminder that you are responsible for entering any results not documented by the coach, e.g., weights, times, notes, etc.

Foundations is half off for the month of January ONLY! Be sure to tell your friends and family members.


  • Welcome Nick Magnini to the CFS coaching team! Nick coached his very first session this past Saturday and earned rave reviews.
  • We will be completing a benchmark workout Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The only focus will be on proper form and execution of the movements involved in each workout, e.g., cleans, pull-ups, etc. In addition, on most days you will have someone judge and count your reps and you will be judging and counting reps in return. Don’t think for a moment that you’ll get to choose your partner! As the workout may not take the entire hour to complete there may be an opportunity to work on skills.
